gaming pc Mods often pay homage to fan-favorite games, and this God of War platformer goes one step further. The custom powerhouse has one of the better options for a graphics card, but the leviathan ax wound added on top suggests it was Kratos’ downside.
Reddit user modLab_official – one gaming computer modder – who goes by Italian Extreme Modder – has uploaded a series of images showing the God of War themed system. The equipment itself contains an X570 Aorus Elite motherboard, an AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D processor and an AMD Radeon X 6700 XT graphics card, all inside a Cooler Master Cosmos C700M tower that has been customized so that the bottom of the case looks like a leather strap. .
To really sell the God of War visuals – aside from the aforementioned buried hatchet – the case has been given a custom red and gray paint job, with the GPU wearing Kratos’ signature white makeup and a red stripe running from top to bottom. In other words, if you’re a long-time fan of the legendary series, you’ll probably think this is one of the best gaming PC releases.
Looking at the Italian website Extreme Modders, it’s clear that the company is more than used to building a gaming PC or two, and the examples on display look pretty gorgeous. From an Iron Man device armed with Tony Stark’s Cardiac Arc Reactor core (hear that?) to an appropriately colored Joker-themed PC, the creator’s builds stand out from the crowd.
The God of War system is unfortunately not currently available for purchase, but it may appear on the website soon. Either way, it’s a pretty stunning design. Building a custom system – like the MASH gaming PC celebrating 50 years of the hit US show – is a waste of time, so buying one pre-built is certainly a viable option, and a good one considering the quality of what IEM produces.
